maximum potential.
The Coach will play different roles for different people and at different times.
The bottom line is, every human being and company can benefit from a personalised
approach, hence why Coaching is predominantly offered as a one to one event.
Why and when are there times to access a mentor or coach?
- Would you like an experienced professional to work with you to establish a mission,
a passion, some purpose and new Goals?
- Could you be assisted in making some shifts in focus & direction and moving toward
attainment?
- Is there something that is limiting you in moving forward in business and life?
Business Coaching examines and develops core professional & personal attributes
including: -
- Confidence
- Emotional Intelligence
- Self-Awareness
- Focus
- Energy
- Performance Management
- Managing Distractions – personal & business
Coaching is a relationship with someone who:
- Gives you the tools for your own professional and personal development
- Helps you move from functioning to higher functioning
- Is paid to tell you the absolute truth.
- Holds you accountable for better habits and strategy
- Has no attachment to power differentials or professional outcomes
What does Coaching Involve?
First, we have to understand your current passions and your methods for expressing
them. This involves self-evaluation of your behavioural style and your personal
interests and values. An agenda is then set for determining key goals and methods.
- Personal Assessments custom-written to your behavioural style
- Personalised one-on-one accountability coaching
- Arrangements specifically designed around your schedule and needs.
Instruments for Initial Discovery in the coaching relationship...
- Personal Interests & Values - WHY I do what I do
- Behavioural Style - HOW I do what I do
The client and the coach must “Assess” to gain insights and to induce motivation
and success. This will include an examination and taking ownership of the following
aspects:-
- Thinking Style - How do I use my intellectual abilities to solve problems and make
decisions?
- Work Style and Motivations - How do I get the job done?
- What are potential effects of motivational influences on my job performance?
- Interpersonal Influence and Control - How do I persuade, influence or supervise
others?
- Interpersonal Style - How do I approach and interact with other people?
- Use and Effectiveness of Intellectual Abilities - How do I use my mental abilities
and potential?
From this then we gain movement in a prescribed direction with actual tasks imparting
key skills to be better, more effective and successful in careers. All coaching
and mentoring is bespoke to the individual client and all clients’ information must
be treated with the utmost confidentiality by the coach.
